Are HiFi Simulations developing a ACTIVE SKY CLOUD ART for X-Plane?
Or with the developing of FS2020 the X-Plane development is less important?

We have been working on new visualization technology for X-Plane, for some time now. It's a moving target however and we are quite delayed on it as we've posted in various updates. We were about to announce revised info on our efforts and timelines over a month ago, but then LR announced they are working to replace the weather visualization system internally. Couple that with the vulkan/metal changes which now prevent the traditional openGL graphics interaction and we are stuck at the moment, rendering our previous work somewhat obsolete. We are still moving forward with best-guess assumptions so that we are prepared when new X-Plane weather visualization and metal/vulkan api extensibility becomes available, hopefully soon.

ASCA v2 is also in the works, but this is a texture/model enhancement that is not specific to X-Plane and is not a weather visualization replacement. We've seen some reference to ASCA being the name of our visuals replacement technology, but that is not correct.

Hope that helps a little. We plan a comprehensive development news update sometime after P3Dv5 and our P3Dv5-integrated solutions release, so please check back.

Really looking forward to what’s coming for Xplane! Thanks
