Hi all, recently got Active Sky, been loving it, much better than the default engine which i've always used. Until recently it's worked perfectly, but over the past few days i've noticed than when i'm at cruise, the winds will suddenly change and my altitude will decrease or increase to anything from 100ft right up to 1000ft. Not entirely sure why this is happening, at first i thought it could have something to do with the option i chose on the "flight configuration" screen within X-Plane. I So i changed it from manually configured to match real world conditions to see if this would stop it, but nope, every time Active Sky updates the weather it seems to disrupt my altitude alot. In case you're wondering, i have the download interval set to 5 minutes in the settings. Could this be something to do with the settings? I am using all of the default settings except from the download interval which i changed from 15 (default) to 5. If someone could help that'd be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks, Brad

Hello Brad,

Please ensure that you have loaded the METAR as per the instructions on page 7 of the ASXP User's Guide and that a flight plan has been loaded on the ASXP flight plan tab.

If the issue continues perform an uninstall/reinstall of ASXP ensuring to remove all saved data when prompted. Install the latest build of ASXP.

Official Full/Update ASXP Installer with SP1 and Update 041619 Build 7045:

Hi, i tried this and it still does not work i'm afraid. I set the weather in the flight configuration to the metar file, when the weather updates and the clouds dissapear, the altitude still changes drastically. I will try the support ticket.
