Are the B8995 fixes from May 3rd in the latest 8942 release from July 15th?

Changelog:

Update 081724 - B8995 (1.0.8995.20557)

- UI and backend adjustments to login/license entry processes
- Fixed issue with NAT routes and invalid additional fixes shown in flight plan/navlog during simbrief plan import
- Adjusted SimBrief flight plan data parsing to account for recent July SimBrief update which previously caused alternate route fixes to be inserted before and in addition to non-alternate route fixes

@damian I would love to understand if 8942 release contains all fixes in Beta 8995 as it's not clear to me which is the latest version?

From what I understand the beta contains what the previous release had plus what improvements and fixes the team put.

Thank you, I have seen that too but which one is the latest version, that's what is unclear.

If I go by the date Hifi posted the Beta, that was before the 8942 Stable release but the post about the beta mentions updates that aren't in the stable release notes.

It's very confusing and could be solved by putting the date in the release number so that I don't have to try to figure out which release is the most current. Thank you anyway for trying to help.

Cmon, What's confusing?
One version is the official one, another is the beta one.
You want to stay on the official one, it's 8942.
If you want to test new features and fixes use the beta one, 8995.
This is really simple to understand. Forget what's new or old.

Edit: The beta 8995 has fixes for you to test if you wish, if they're ok then a new offcial version will be launched.

The build number represents the days that have elapsed since January 1, 2000, when Active Sky was created and/or released.

If new updates were to be released today, it would be build number 9001.
