ASXP Start Up/ Activation

I have installed ASXP. There are no visiible problems and when I check the plug in list AS appears on the list.
Before starting up XPlane I start AS. The program appears for a brief moment, appears to start and then disappears. It is apparently running. I am not; however, able to access the options bar- such as for flight planning, briefing, etc...

Is the program not working properly? It does not appear to be...

Hello,

Is there an icon on the taskbar? It should not minimize immediately after launching.

Do a complete uninstall/reinstall ensuring to remove saved data then download and install using the link below:

Official Full/Update ASXP Installer with SP1 and Update 041619 7045

If the above does not resolve the issue we would be happy to assist you, please log onto the HiFi support portal (http://support.hifitechinc.com) and log a support ticket, be sure to copy the URL from this forum post and include it in the ticket request. Please include most recent session logs, with Active Sky (only) running press the "Logs" button and save the AS_Log_Export.txt and attach to your ticket request.

The support site requires a separate login from the forum. Please note that you cannot login with your forum credentials, you will have to create a new account.

I don't know if my problem is related or the same. I bought/installed ASXP the other night along with UWXP. After initial setup, I have 2 icons on my desktop and the mini-icon in the taskbar. When I double-click the main icon, I get the Windows 10 question asking if I will allow AS to make changes and I click YES. The AS User Interface does not appear. I can't get it at all. Suggestions please?

Hello,

If you tried installing using the link above and it did not work we will have to look at your settings. Please take a screenshot of the Windows 10 notification and include the ASXP log found in C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\HiFi\AS_XPL\AS_Log_161438.txt (example). Please also attach the X-Plane 11 Log.txt found in the main root folder.

Thanks! I do have an icon; however, will follow your recommendations.
