Unconfirmed black screen then crash after p3dv4 closes and tried to close as16

I was done flying in p3dv4 a short flight, and closed the sim. Then I double clicked the AS16 icon in my system tray, and my entire screen went black and I had to restart the computer

I have no messages in the event viewer

The AS16 log shows this:

It is hard to tell by the log, is Prepar3D v4 installed, and you have downloaded and installed ASP4?

ASP4 is the new ActiveSky platform designed to run with Prepar3D v4, AS2016 (AS16) maxed out with Prepar3D v3.

I am using asp4 yes. A fresh install of windows 10 pro and p3dv4.

Are both ASP4 and Prepar3D v4 on the same PC? Have you checked event viewer to see what the crash can be attributed to? On first run I experienced the same issue and found it was an ntdll.dll crash which I think is a graphics issue. I am using ASP4 on a networked PC.

Hopefully this is a one off, you can check to see if a log was written which you can upload here using the CODE insertion tool.

Not networked, both installed on the same PC. Nothing in event viewer. The screen just flashed black after p3d closed and I double clicked the active sky icon in my taskbar.
