Global depiction mode in ASXP

Hi,

Just wondering, when using global depiction mode does the weather get updated when flying to other areas? Or is the weather only modified/updated in accordance with the set download interval?

I'm asking this, because as I've understood it the weather in this mode is more accurate than the default mode. I'm thinking of activating this mode, because I've noticed that there are some small differences in the weather that is shown in the conditions tab of ASXP and what is shown in the XP11 weather datarefs.

Hello Dave,

Exactly, the weather is generated globally and remains static, please see page 49 of the ASXP User's Guide. You can refresh the weather manually using the debug page.
