Hi everyone,

Im looking for the holy grail on active sky settings.
What are you using as in settings as in Smoothing rate and interval ratio and why?

Hello Erik,

I find everything is finely tuned already. The first thing I do is activate "Realism mode" on the Options page. I leave all options in default except:

General options:
-Check "Auto load SimBrief plans."
-Uncheck "Enable SayIntentions.AI integration."

Simulator depiction options:
-Change the setting of "Depiction smoothing rate=7"
-Check "Enable temperature-based altimeter errors."

Wind options (and effects):
-MaximumDowndraftRate=1200
-MaximumUpdraftThermalRate=1600

Below are the contents of MSFS options at a glance.

I also use pretty much Realistic default seetings, but I have the Rotational effect set to zero, as I find the up/down turbulence is more realistic than rotational (rolling) turbulence, although you still get a bit of rotational
