Confirmed 'Microbust encounter' scenario is very underwhelming

I tested the ‘Microbust encounter’ scenario and it was very underwhelming. I tried three times and in all of them, it was an uneventful approach with light turbulence and without any scares. I heard the audible windshear warning, but nothing unusual happened.

I used the PMDG 737, Fenix A320 and Asobo ATR-72. Their AP handled the light turbulence perfectly until the touchdown. There was no microburst.

What is the way to start the scenario? I am trying to press ESC twice in the sim once I've pressed start scenario in ASFS, but although I hear the engines running, nothing moves. What is the binding that ESC is supposed to be triggering?

Thanks for the feedback. We've been making significant changes in the turbulence and air effects recently, which may have negatively affected things there. We will revisit. Thank you.

Pressing ESC twice worked for me on all aircraft except the Fenix A320.

On Fenix A320, I needed to click on 'unfreeze' in the fenix settings on MCDU.

I tried with numerous aircraft and nine worked. Maybe my ESC isn't bound correctly. I'll see what the default binding is supposed to be.

I found real windshear created by live weather with the C207 stationair and it smashed me to the ground, it was really strong, I have the turbulence slide at maximum

Interesting. So you got a windshear from live weather? Are you sure it wasn't wake turbulence instead?

I was almost convinced that ASFS currently has no windshear effects.

We have identified some windshear issues in some cases (and microburst-generated windshear) and are working on resolution.
