AS always injects heavy rain first

Every time I load into the sim and start Active Sky, no matter what the weather is, AS apparently initially injects very heavy rainy weather before updating to the correct one. This started happening one day, and it's a bit annoying.
Is this some issue with a bugged default mode or something? is there something I can reset to avoid this?

I cannot reproduce this here.
What was the weather on your previous flight?

This has been solved just a few minutes ago by clearing the presets folder (hint from the MSFS forum). Thanks!

Multiple Presets?
You really should not have to be clearing any presets unless something else is adding them.

All I know that in that folder, there were three files, one ActiveSky, one strata and one TT. I deleted all of those, issue is gone.

TT should remain in that folder.

Why? What is this? Seems it’s working fine without. ActiveSky preset was re-created.
