Question Active sky evolution & fs9 weather settings

Hello

When I have setup ASE and start FS9 do I set the weather in FS9 to

Clear Sky?
Real World weather?
User Defined Weather

I realise that ASE generates real time weather but wondered about the initial weather setting in FS9 when setting up

Hello Clive,

You should not need to change anything in FS9 while ASE is running.

Please check the user documentation on page 25 regarding settings with FS9 and also if you are using FSUIPC.

I did not mean changing settings whilst ASE is running
What I was trying to explain and receive an answer is:
When I start FS9 from within ASE I am prompted which aircraft to use, time of day and also weather conditions
Clear Sky?
Real World weather?
User Defined Weather?
Which of the following three weather settings should I choose in the initial setup of FS9? Or does ASE overwrite the weather settings within FS9 and load it own settings

Use 'User Defined Weather' or 'Clear Sky' - it doesn't really make any difference since ASE will override it. I always start FS9 from the desktop, thus bypassing all of that nonsense - set FS up the way you want it and then leave it that way.
