'Active Sky FS Weather Preset' stays in FS weather menu

The same issue for me. Also tried a clean reinstall af AS with no success. I get every few seconds microstutters with Active Sky and the presets are doesn't delete by AS.
Which version? SU5 or 5.1 Beta?

We have a test update here which attempts to resolve any remaining extra presets issue:

Update 070626
- Removed Say Intentions direct integration with ASFS which is no longer supported by the SayIntentions developer. NOTE: This does not affect live weather which is natively compatible, but historical weather integration is no longer supported
- Fixed issue with preset control/assignments which could cause multiple Active Sky FS Weather Preset files and potential perf issues
- Improved cloud depiction/smoothing logic to address edge cases where cloud layers may instantly transition or become corrupt
- Improved smoothing with higher frequency/smoother steps with slower cloud changes
- Added Active/Passive depiction mode indicator to Wx Mode status on main screen

The latest version running normally again. No more microstutters and old weather presets for me. Thank you!

good to see that this issue is still there even 1 year later and still we the users gettin blamed or even other addons. How the hell would rex or anything other write weather presets with the name active sky?! I find it so funny, lmao.

I was already in chat with support over zen, but nothing useful came out.

We've worked on this specifically in several of the past builds to prevent any chance of this, and the latest open beta build specifically has confirmed to solve any previous occurrence. And yes we have identified numerous potential causes including other add-ons making unintended preset selections and changes in MSFS 2024 SU builds including auto saving custom preset weather when it changes without any commanded action by AS.
