AS does not show in P3Dv5

On a new computer I was finally able to install P3Dv5. Like before I installed AS+ASCA on a networked PC. Did all the usual install stuff and it worked. Until for other reason (probably some W11 update) on the networked PC in Explorer there is no other computer (???). I did everything I could find online, but no show. So I decided to uninstall on the networked PC and install in the P3Dv5 PC. It's a power beast so it saves me from the network issues.
However, ASCA did not uninstall the clouds in P3D. It probably could not access the other PC.
So I installed AS+ASCA on the new computer. It ran the connect program during the install and then I had two problems:
1. AS does not show in the Weather selection box. It shows Fair weather and all the others but not AS. I think the old run of connector did something in P3D which was based on the networked situation and did not updated it. The uninstall of the connector did not remove the settings. How to access or change?
2. This one is solved.

This is an old FSX/P3D bug that Microsoft and Lockheed Martin never fixed which affects the Active Sky weather theme dropdown entry in FSX/P3D.


Try the following:

1: Start Active Sky.
2: Start FSX/P3D and setup a flight and save it.
3: Close down FSX/P3D and then Active Sky.
4: Start Active Sky again before starting FSX/P3D.
5: Start FSX/P3D and load your saved flight.

The Active Sky Weather Theme should appear in the drop down menu now.
