Issue ASE Incorrect Temperatures

AWSEA

New member
Hello,

Very new to this program. Just purchased today. Anyways I've noticed a few things when loading up ASE. First is I will open ASE, use the start fs button, load all my flight details and click fly now. When the game actually loads I get all my weather details for where I am at, then they disappear and reset to default fs9 values, and then about a minute later they load in. Is this normal? Am I supposed to be clicking a "set all weather" button, or does ASE do this automatically? Also I have noticed some values are a few degrees off. Nothing too major but just more of a annoyance because the metar will read for example winds 180/05 but in the game I get 160/03. My biggest concern though is that the temperatures never seem to match. Ground temperatures will be off by a few degrees, but as I begin my climb they automaticaly revert to default fs2004 values. Going from 3 degrees on the ground to 11 degrees right after takeoff. It never matches the values given in ASE for flight levels. For example I was at FL180 and ASE said it should've been -27 but fs in the cockpit was saying -8. I know this affects pressure altitude and performance so that's why I find it a big concerning. I'm running everything as administrator too.

Let me know what I can improve upon to fix this or make my experience better.
