Question ASXP

One quick question regarding the upcoming product:

Will Active Sky for XP solve the cloud rendering distance issue which does not allow for a full true overcast representation or seeing weather out on a distant horizon?

Thanks,

Tom

thanks HiFi for the nice announcement.

ASXP features high-performance cloud depiction with a focus on conditions accuracy, utilizing the X-Plane internal cloud rendering via a hybrid API approach, with two different modes available
As per my understanding, XP draw only 3 cloud layers, will coming ASXP offer more than that or this will be planned for the next year? thank you

3 layers at this time, which we've managed to make work for nearly all cloud condition representation and proper METAR adherence, with priority as required on ceilings and/or convective layers.

Thank you Damian for your clarification, can't wait to try the ASXP. I am sure you will managed later on to increase the layers:)

Currently using SkyMax Pro with XP11.
Will it still be ok with Active Sky XP?

Got a 404 error on your link ...

I will just wait to purchase until ASXP software is finalized.
My apologies Vaughan, link has been corrected.
