atis via Headset

As far as I have read (nearly every forum item) might have missed the one I am looking for.
Is there a way of having the ATIS voice, ONLY, transferred to usb headsets ??

Yes, I have read how to switch sounds but I only want the ATIS voice switched. Same as the voice in other products can.

Real pain to take off your headset, turn aircraft volumes down etc to hear the latest ATIS at your arrival airport via 122.02 over the speakers.

Thanks

One way you can do it since I'm assuming you've got two sound cards (USB has a separate one, and then you've got your motherboard's onboard sound) before you start up ActiveSky (and FS9/FSX) turn the default sound device to the headset. Then in FSX (and Squawkbox/FSInn if you use it) set the sound device to your speakers.

IN windows, map your sound to speakers and voice to the usb headset. In FSX/P3D map atc to default voice device and other sounds to speakers. The onboard so0und will handle it fine.

Noble, tried that last night, yep, works except that I have to config everytime I use FSX or put on head phones when not using FSX;)
Would be nice if there was a option in AS to have voice option to send to sound device.

Vic, Thats the way I have always used it, problem being that in a noisy cockpit (JS4100) with FScrew the ATIS is being drowned out with all the other sounds going on, even taking the headset off to listen:D
