Cloud tops cut off horizontally

I recently installed the latest beta of ASFS for MSFS 2024 and cannot understand why the cloud tops are cut off on the horizontal plane.
It's like someone took a knife across the horizon and cut off the tops of the clouds all at the same height (not altitude).
This happens only when ASFS controls both weather and clouds.
thank you

Do you have a screenshot of this?

Hi Dave,
I am in the sim now but it's not showing the cut off clouds today. If I see it, I'll post a screenshot.

Hi @Daveo ,
I think you can see quite well what I mean here. The lower edge of the clouds is often horizontally cut off, which simply reduces the quality.
I think the clouds shouldn't be cut off at the bottom, but should retain their natural shape.

(MSFS2024, SU6, 1.8.14.0, with Active Sky version 9720)

This is an MSFS thing and also visible in other custom preset weather. At certain altitudes/heights a given cloud formation will alter the bottom/top presentation and sometimes appear cut off or more hard bottom. We have also seen this in live weather.

Much of this is legitimate and realistic for certain cumulus-type (bottoms) or stratus-type (tops) cloud formations, but it is exaggerated in some cases and can look odd.

We unfortunately have no control over this at this time.
