Resolved 'Ghost' ASFS in-sim toolbar button /no injection of ASFS weather solved?

Ok I solved this completely (99% sure). Please call me an WNA if I missed it in the manual but I cannot see any mention of it there?

ASFS installs a toolbar widget inside MSFS toolbar. I did not know this as it was disabled by default but looking in settings/toolbar I noticed ASFS so enabled it.

It's a blank square on toolbar no label. If you hover mouse over it nothing is shown. However if you CLICK it the text ASFS appears below with an arrow/pointer which when clicked does nothing. BUT.....ASFS is now enabled again! Click the blank button and the ASFS txt disappears and ASFS has no injection. Click it (toggle) it once more, if the ASFS txt appears then it works perfectly.

Tested this with ASFS app changing settings immediately injected pressure/cloud changes. Toggle OFF of course did nothing.

The questions are:

if this VITAL toggle is in the manual where is it? If not it should be added in there as I'm not the only one trying fix a very simple problem with complicated solutions.

if this vital toggle needs to be on it should be enabled by default in MSFS toolbar so users can see it's there and have clear text saying ASFS ON or OFF/DISABLED.

at the moment it's either BLANK (disabled) or toggle and wait a second "ASFS" text appears below. Even red/green would help!Screenshot 2024-04-26 233013.png

historical can works as real time?
p.s. aha, i found something "force historical time to sim time"<---- so that's another way to have real time:)

So is the toolbar something that's going to become a feature in the future? Only ask as I already thought about this for VR usage with options as a wishlist item :)

Just a note, that we have found that when you disable the ASFS toolbar item, and restart MSFS, and or disable/enable and press the blank ASFS unintented ASFS toolbar button, this can result in our toolbar javascript code being disabled. We were not aware of this situation until recently. Thank you for the report. We are working on a resolution to prevent disabling of our toolbar code regardless of the user setting, to prevent confusion. We advise to NOT disable the ASFS toolbar item, and if you do, a subsequent session of MSFS/ASFS could result in no weather depiction. Please re-enable to toolbar button if disabled, and restart MSFS, then avoid disabling the button in the future, to establish proper ASFS weather depiction. Thank you.

I also tried creating a flow button for the toolbar button but it had no effect. Seems that it only applies to the default MSFS toolbar button.
read description:) it does nothing till you remove this button and after all this can be disabled in default toolbar and if it was, then no more active sky and you even will not know why, as was happens with me after playing this button game:) this button must be active in the default toolbar whatever you do, or it must be in active mod, then can be removed, i don't sure. guy who start this explain more deeply in the other post:)
