Hurricanes

For some reason I think that hurricanes aren't depicted until sometime after they pass?? I don't remember the details, but it's either that hurricane data is only available for like 10 days, or only available after 10 days?

Either way, with three historic storms we're seeing, how can one fly into/around a hurricane?

It's current available via live weather, or historical > 10 days (HiFi DataNet). It's not available historically via NOAA.

Is there's any setting to take the data and depict the clouds correctly in a swirl, since MSFS forces the preset to be applied globally?

When we had non-global control, ala FSX, P3D, XP10/11, etc, yes, we had intentional depiction attributes including eye, swirl, etc. But since we have been forced to use global depiction only with MSFS and XP12, this is not possible. We hope this capability is added in the future and we will certainly take advantage of it if/when it does.
