Issue Thunderstorms and Heavy rain with EA Mode on

Following METAR: EDDL 231650Z 26006KT 240V300 9999 -SHRA FEW024 FEW032CB SCT041 19/14 Q1016 NOSIG

in P3D with EA on, only very few clouds, no rain. I know EA is BETA but are there any improvements planed by HIFI and LM?

-SHRA means light rain shower
FEW means only few clouds on the sky
SCT means scattered clouds, but still not overcast
CB is warning about towering clouds cumulonimbuses with possibility of the strong updraft or downdraft

Your METAR doesn't describe heavy rain or thunderstorm. For thunderstorm and heavy rain You need TSRA or +TSRA in the METAR.

I have the issue since Beta #8 that i only have Rain in Sim after starting AS 1 time
If I start P3D (4.5 HF3) and try to simulate Grey and Rainy, no rain. After starting AS 1 time, close it again and try the preset Grey and Rainy, Rain is here.

Is there something known?
