Question Webscrapper - get metar from outsources

Hello.

I live in Colombia, a country with a changing weather and few known for the aviation weather centers.

We have a problem, a lot of airfields here in Colombia are not being tracked by NOAA, Vatsim nor IVAO.

We actually have official sources where the metar and speci are being published but i would like to know if it is possible to make a webscrapper to get all those metar and speci, and put in into activesky in order to increase the weather depiction within my country, using the avalaible API.

We are only able to obtain weather data legally either through public domain, effective public license, or commercial contract. If there are such sources that you are aware of we're always looking to add more. We are aware that most countries including Greece, Australia, New Zealand, do NOT offer any weather access to any commercial software such as Active Sky.

In Australia, METAR (aviation routine weather reports) data, including those generated by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), is considered public domain. While the Bureau generally holds copyright on its material, including weather information, it licenses much of it under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence. This means you can use and share the data freely, as long as you attribute it to the Bureau of Meteorology.

This makes available ALL METAR, as well TAF, and Area Forecasts etc.
... should add GREATLY to the Australian experience if you can please incorporate this.

It seems those initial queries on Australia METAR data dates back to 2018. From a user perspective, we're just Flight Simmers who want accurate Australian data for personal use. Surely that satisfies public domain, or over the course of 7 years a commercial arrangement should be able to be reached with one of the providers here (particularly the BoM)?

The copyright information still clearly states that data cannot be shared nor used commercially without permission which we have so far been unable to obtain. We continue our attempts to obtain permission/license.
