Fix Attempted - Please Confirm in New Build Wind shifts in latest builds

The fixes worked on are regarding level cruise only. Wind shifts in climb out or descent are known due to MSFS wind layer depiction and not currently something we can control and this can be reproduced in sim by setting "shearing" wind layers similarly or using live weather. We’ve not yet been able to replace all winds in MSFS due to the weather api restrictions. We are working on some new things but this is not yet in scope for current ASFS features.
I'm on 9126 and it's almost unflyable at the moment having 180 degrees shifts as depicted in the video above at climb but mine are in cruise.
I created another shared album with a few videos showing one minute I'm in an overspeed out of nowhere then the next I am almost stalling as the winds shift 180 degrees @FL350 over Europe. Winds are between 68-74kts. I opened DevMode weather debug when it started happening regularly.

B9144 was released yeterday as mentioned about 2 or 3 posts before yours...check it out.

That said, I had good results with the new wind engine on my last flight! Great job HIFI gang! :)

Ah, I missed that, just updated so I will see if the issue persists. Thank you.

Only was able to get 2 flights done on B9144 so far, but I didn't notice any wind shifts, AP disconnections, or overspeed events, even when I had sim rate to 2x/4x. So far so good!

We have posted this. We appreciate user posts/likes as well on the existing issues already posted in the regular forums for wind shifts and speed issues.
Just an FYI that our issue/bug post was redirected to main forums (for not being an sdk issue) along with the other several similar reports that already exist for this. So there’s really not much we can do, but the more users that post/like the more visibility it will have.

Damian, can you confirm this is only with Active Mode and presets? That is what it looks like on my end. I saw winds holding at 149 kts so switched to live Weather and ASFS in Passive mode and had no issues with winds over 149kts. Everything seems fine.

The down side is looking at a cloud coverage map with Active Mode it matches perfectly with heavy overcast conditions over Halifax whereas Live weather and Passive mode has clear skies but winds of 160 kts.

So it really is a trade-off of winds over 149kts or limiting the winds but having accurate cloud coverage 😞
