Hello,
Comanche 250 from A2A has its own turbulence settings for the AccuSim which are accessible via the PDA in the aircraft.
Since Active Sky also has its own turbulence, I'm trying to understand the compatibility between the two systems.
Do I need to turn one off or do they happily work together?
I've had Comanche 250 turbulence set to full 100% and I've had Active Sky turbulence effects at 100% as well. The random turbulence is turned off.
Everything seemed to work relatively well with manageable jolts and bumps through the flights.
MSFS's marketplace have updated Comanche to its latest version (1.6 I believe) this week, and since then, it is impossible to fly, the aircraft has been been thrown all over the place in my last flight.
So I'm wondering if my previous experience was just mild turbulence in my flights and it was working as expected, or if my previous experience was not working correctly and I was getting only a percentage of the total turbulence.
Maybe it was just a super bumpy flight, this one, that I haven't experienced before and it fully showed what 100% turbulence feels like.
I've also experimented with turning either one of them off, but I haven't noticed any difference in the bumpiness, so something definitely feels off after the update.
Before the update, if I had Comanche turbulence off, I was not getting ANY turbulence from Active Sky either, which made me thing that I need Comanche's setting to be on.
With two systems controlling the turbulence I'm trying to better understand how well they play with each other.
One note, I'm in a motion rig, so I feel every jolt and bump physically, which probably makes my experience a lot more sensitive compared to just viewing it onscreen or in VR.
